MapleStory M is available on the Play Store within an Englis

MapleStory M is Nexon's Most Up-to-date attempt to deliver the MapleStory MMORPG into Android. It has since been eliminated, but that does not imply Nexon has given up on bringing the franchise to mobile. Back in October of 2016 premiered in Korea, but there wasn't any word regarding a English release. It looks like we now know for certain that an English version is coming stateside as a public beta is on the Play Store right now.

Now, one thing you will want to remember is that the current English record of MapleStory M will only be accessible on the Play Store before January 30th. So if you want to jump into the MMORPG gameplay, then you should do so post haste, since the clock is counting down. Additionally, it is worth pointing out that the game's servers will be wiped following this beta is over, so any progress that you make in the game will be lost when it's officially published. Fortunately any in-app buys which will undoubtedly be in the last release aren't active with the beta, so there's no way to lose any cash whilst analyzing the title out.

If you are not familiar with MapleStory, it's a highly popular Korean 2D MMORPG that's been accessible on PC since 2003. Yes it is super grindy, and yes it's extremely pay-to-win, but that has never seemed to stop any of its own fans. In terms of what sets MapleStory M besides its PC predecessor, well, not too much, and that's a good thing. Sure, there are a couple quality of life enhancements for simpler touchscreen controls. One of these is that the inclusion of a car questing button in the top left of this display, just like you'd expect to find in the majority of cellular MMOs on the market. Obviously, any auto features are optional, which means you're free to perform how you like, which is very good for those of us who intend on playing manually.

Oh, also if you were counting on any type of controller support, the beta has no such feature. Perhaps this will be added in later, but that is probably a stretch because the game has been available in Korea for a little more than a year now, as much as I know it does not have controller support.

Overall, I must say I was surprised to see Appear on the Play Store having an English variant. I'm even more excited because it is indeed a whole lot closer if not almost exactly the same as the PC version. Sure the super grindy gameplay won't be for everybody, and there's absolutely no doubt that Nexon will be nickel and diming its fans when the game's IAPs are live in the finished product. But despite all the normal complaints, there's something very endearing about the sport that is tough to just shrug off.
