Supercars have been popular starting from its rise to fame through the 20th century when numerous cars were built to be prosperous supercars and so a good many others that were confirmed not so super at all. And the best of all these dream automobiles is no apart from the final McLaren F1 , developed by Gordon Murray and his F1 team. This F1 supercar is the fastest, as well as the most innovative of all 20th century supercars.


Gordon Murray has been vehicle engineer for other F1 supercars except that the McLaren’s. He designed supercars for each McLaren and Brabham. McLaren boss Ron Dennis assigned Gordon Murray to be the chief engineer of a road automobile to be produced. Inspired by the triumph of McLaren’s F1 team within the Grand Prix in Italy in 1988 from where the team won all 11 races inside the season, Murray sketched a style of a supercar with a 3-seat style. It is indeed innovative because sports auto utilizes only two seats. Unconventional as it is, he presented his design to Rob Dennis for the road auto project. With Peter Stevens assigned on the automobile design, they began building the supercar.
