Happy Saturday , football fans! We’re into week six of the college season and now are well into the thick of conference play. The Big Ten had its early showcase game last weekend, a 27-26 Ohio State victory at Penn State, but this week it’s the Big XII that has the top game on the schedule.As always, that contest between #7 Oklahoma and #19 Texas comes at a neutral site: the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. Furthermore, it’s an early kickoff, as is tradition. We also have games between ranked teams in Florida, with the Gators hosting LSU, and up the East Coast with Notre Dame at Virginia Tech.Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Badgers get their third night game of the year (with a fourth coming up next week at Michigan), as they host the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Camp Randall this evening. Ealy appeared in three games for the Raiders last season while Michael played one game for the Colts.Machota reports that cornerback Sterling Moore, running back Lance Dunbar, fullback Aaron Ripkowski, quarterback Trevone Boykin, defensive back Marqueston Huff, and defensive end Frank Alexander are also showing XFL scouts what they can do on the field.The XFL has seven more showcases planned this summer. Houston is next up this weekend and all the cities with teams will host one of the workouts.
