The team returned to practice on Tuesday for the first time since Mullens’ debut on Thursday Night Football, and he got the first reps of practice, according to the 49ers beat writers.Ian Rapoport and Jay Glazer both reported over the weekend that Mullens was expected to be the starter this week , but Kyle Shanahan said on Friday he was waiting until after the team’s four-day break before making any decision.
