Adam Schefter reported late last night that the Redskins would be getting their #2 RB back in the lineup today.Thompson has been replaced by Kapri Bibbs the last two weeks. He has 4 rushes for 24 yards , 5 receptions for 49 yards with 1 TD. Bibbs was also active the two games before that, adding 6 carries for 12 yards and 1 rushing TD to his season total.In the 4 games Thompson was active this year, he had 23 rushes for 100 yards, and 26 receptions for 200 yards with 1 TD. Thompson was a perfect option for Alex Smith to dump the ball off short when he didn't like his options downfield , which was pretty often. The Redskins will be missing WR Jamison Crowder(ankle) again this week, and Paul Richardson Jr. is still listed as questionable with shoulder and knee injuries. That is an improvement from last week, and there is a better chance he plays against the Giants today.
