The Nike Kobe 1 Protro "81 Pt Game" releases January 22 on SNKRS North America, nike.com and at select retailers globally.Converse and Don C's second head-to-toe capsule featuring '80s basketball silhouette the ERX 260 includes five executions of the shoe based on two ideas: animal and metal.
The Animal pack uses two classic leather colorways (black and white) as its base and accents each of the shoes with an animal print — a signature execution of Don C’s. Each sneaker comes with two lace sets that mirror the print on the heel overlays. In addition, the patterns and textures are extended through an accompanying four-piece apparel and accessories set.
The Metal pack offers three additional distinct ERX 260s in color palettes reminiscent of the convergence of '80s punk rock and pop genres. Each is embellished by an assortment of multi-size studs and is adorned with an oversize “CONS” logo print on the tongue, lighting bolt graphics and multiple lace options. Again, the shoes are complemented by a four-piece apparel and accessory set, this time set with glam metal era tones.
Each shoe is constructed with a renewed EVA midsole, while the upper and rubber cupsole mirror the original build.
The collection will be available January 12 on converse.com, Foot Locker and select retailers.
Both born in Australia, point guard Kyrie Irving and tennis pro Nick Kyrgios share a love for their heritage and a high esteem for the other athlete. That premise inspired a collaborative project for this January, when Kyrgios will wear a KYRIE 5-inspired Vapor X in Melbourne. (Irving will wear a KYRIE 5 based on Kyrgios' Vapor on January 7 against the Nets.)

The Nike Epic React Flyknit 2 “8-bit,” featuring a gray upper, releases January 17 for members only, while the “Pixel” launches January 31 on nike.com, and at select Nike doors.
