ÿþNot that anybody needed Yahoo! to tell them, but the  media corporation confirmed that adidas is absolutely killing it right now in the footwear industry. Today Yahoo! Finance announced adidas as their sports business of the year, citing that the Three Stripes are now enjoying an almost 3% rise in their share of the US athletic footwear market from 4.3% last year to 7.2% in 2016 (Likewise, Nike s share fell almost 3%). adidas has also gained back the #2 spot in the footwear market, which was previously held by Skechers since 2015.

The adidas Gazelle had a big year in 2016, returning to the shelves in a quality construction accurate to the look of the shoe in the early 1990s. Now adidas Originals is going back a little further and a little more obscure for another edition of the Gazelle for 2017, the Gazelle Super, which was originally produced in Yugoslavia in 1987. As you can see, the shoe features a tweaked design, with added adidas branding on the midfoot and a slightly slimmer toe box. The Gazelle Super will debut in to OG colorways of vintage-looking red and blue suede in ealry 2017.
Oneness sneaker boutique in Kentucky released their stock of Yeezys at a random time today for a true first-come first-serve shopping experience. It appears that many of their loyal customers waited across the street for the shop to release the shoes, because a line-up formed rather quickly.
