My girl knew something was annoying me and when she asked I simply told her “The dog eats poop”. Our new pup (a mini Schnauzer) had just come home with us and we couldn’t wait to see her learn about her world. The poop eating thing was a definite problem though.


Reasoning that our pup must still be hungry , we decided to give her a bit more food. That was not helpful, and you’ll see why later in this column.


We racked our brains and reasoned that some research would be a good idea since neither of us work in veterianry medicine. This is our findings:
