"The symbiotic relationship between and legendary Tokyo-based boutique atmos has spawned some of the most iconic footwear collaborations ever. All the way back in 2003, atmos combined two classic Tinker Hatfield creations by imparting the design ethos and materials of the Air Safari onto the Air Max 1. 15 years later in 2018, the Swoosh Brand returned the homage by dressing the Safari in a colorway inspired by atmos’s “Safari” Air Max 1 — creating an interesting homage cycle of sorts. Now, the roots of inspiration are set to go a little bit deeper: Nike has taken the Atmos-colored nike shoes sale — the likes of which you’d see on the original Air Max 1 colorway — for a flash of alternate flair.

The confusing nomenclature of sneakers continues with this pair of the nike air max mens. Mind you this model isn’t quite the same as the Nike Metcon, the build here is a bit closer to the one that we’ve seen on various HTM silhouettes since the category’s debut back in 2012. Pairs like these have been rather elusive in the states too, and we can only assume that time is ticking on the shoe given that its cousin, the aforementioned Nike Flyknit Lunar 1+, is being phased out in favor of a sequel.

Further proved by their more recent collaborations, has taken a rekindled interest in their past silhouettes, as they’ve since reintroduced both the 827 and the 850 in a number of ways. Shared in their connections to imprint Aime Leon Dore, both models have since come into their own with inline offerings and exclusives alike, the 850 itself set to receive a brand new partnership with Japanese icon atmos. Setting the mood with a bevy of earth tones, the pair comes to life with a very obvious camping influence, its primary Pantones a clear nod to forestation. Dark greens and light out fit the suede across the upper — even the small branded blocks along the tongue see to the same treatment — while the laces, webbing details, and NB embroidery contrast by way of a soft pink shade.

After announcing his third athletic series with , Matthew M Williams is already thinking far ahead. The Free TR3 MMW, which makes full use of his penchant for modular Vibram soles, may have taken a backseat relative to the Joyride CC3 Setter in the recent collection, but its obvious which silhouette the ALYX designer favors as he teases a yet-to-be-seen colorway on his social media. While bearing the same neutral tones the model has grown accustomed to, the newcomer differentiates by way of more contrasting embellishments; the inner kit now arrives dressed at its side with a seemingly DIY’d white swoosh, likely spray painted in what is effectively a blend of vandalistic and technical motifs.

Before his untimely passing in March, LA rap legend Nipsey Hussle‘s The Marathon Clothing and Puma were working on a special capsule, and now their collaborative efforts will be released posthumously in honor of Hussle’s legacy. The lanky rapper born Ermias Asghedom was a paradigm of laid-back California cool, so the collection encapsulates his easygoing style with a duo of co-branded takes on the sneaker and a full set of apparel that was created using measurements of his body. Arriving in both white/red and black/red, each shoe combines textiles with smooth leather and a slightly glossy midsole for an inherently classic look.
