Brians’s song is a film based on a true story of two great football players. Released in 1971 it tells the story of the friendship of Brian Piccolo(played by James Caan) and his friendship with teammate Gale Sayers (played by Billy Dee Williams) . They were the first interracial roommates in the history of the NFL. At first Piccolo was the one that helped out Sayers throughout the rehabilitiaon period of his knee injury. However when Piccolo was stricken with terminal cancer it was more that Sayers can handle. The production was a major success that was enthusiastically received and later showed in theaters.
2) Friday Night Lights
Friday Night lights is a sport drama television series that was produced by NBC Universal and was aired for two seasons on NBC. It is a sports drama television series that detail events surrounding a high school football team from a town called Dillon in Texas.
