Guter Tierarzt

Mich würde mal interessieren, was macht für euch einen guten TA aus? Nach welchen Kriterien entscheidet ihr, was muß ein TA haben, damit ihr euch wohl fühlt?

Also ich habe bei der TIerarzt Auswahl auf folgende Dinge geschaut:

- schönes, übersichtliches Wartezimmer, wo man nicht so elendig dicht aufeinander sitzt und die Tiere so auch gut Abstand untereinander haben können

- der Tierarzt sollte offen, nett und freundlich sein, sich außerdem Zeit nehmen für das Tier und den Besitzer

- generell keine gestresste Atmosphäre in der Praxis, so dass man sich vorkommt wie einfach nur eine Nummer

- der Arzt sollte nicht sofort und direkt immer zu den heftigsten medizinischen Hammern greifen, sondern erst einmal evtl. auf alternative Medizin bzw. Behandlungsmethoden zurück greifen

- die Praxis (inkl. Wartezimmer, Behandlungsräume etc.) müssen hygienisch tip top sauber sein. (das müsste sich eigentlich von selbst verstehen)

Das waren soweit die wichtigsten Punkte....glaub ich

Der Tierarzt muss mit mir und meinem Wissen klar kommen. Was ich nicht weiß wird in Frage gestellt und ich möchte genau wissen warum und wehalb.

Ein gutes Grundwissen und die Bereitschaft jederzeit wegen eines Magndrehers oder für einen Kaiserschnitt schnell ein Team zusammen zu bekommen und dann zu wissen was zu tun ist.

Ich erwarte gute fachliche Weiterentwickling/Bildung.

Ich brauch einen Tierarzt wo keine Angst vor meinen Hunden hat.

Ich habe leider nicht nur ein Tierarzt sondern je nach Krankheitsbild wechlse ich zu dem der mir passender erscheint.

Wichtig sind mir da mehrere Dinge, spontan fällt mir folgendes ein:
Ich möchte, daß er sich Zeit nimmt, sowohl für das Tier ((wenn Hund mal sehr aufgeregt ist oder so) als auch für mich, daß er gut erklärt und Fragen verständlich beantwortet, auch Nachfragen, auf der anderen Seite aber auch meine Ansichten und Erfahrungen ernst nimmt.
Und er sollte seine Grenzen kennen.

Wir vermissen unseren Tierarzt sehr... leider ist er in den Ruhestand
gegangen, was ihm ja auch zusteht - aber dennoch.

Auch wenn wir so gut wie garkein Tierarzt brauchen,
haben wir bisher noch keinen vergleichbaren gefunden :-((
